BANGKOK: Russian boxers on Friday qualified for the finals in six of 11 divisions at the 12th World Amateur Boxing Championships at Bangkok's Nimibutr Gymnasium.
A strong performance by the Russian team – and Cuba, which sent four fighters into the final round – had been expected.
