Sabah stay alive in title race but Sarawak’s hopes evaporate after loss

PETALING JAYA: It was a night of mixed fortunes for the two East Malaysian sides. Sabah stayed in the hunt for the Premier I title while neighbours Sarawak saw their hopes go up in smoke.

In Kota Kinabalu, Sabah’s foreign hitmen Robert Gaspar and Josiah Seton scored a goal each in the 62nd and 71st minutes to give the Rhinos a 2-0 win over Selangor at the Likas Stadium.
