GENEVA: A Swiss watchmaker has gone into receivership, blaming an injury suffered by Brazilian star Ronaldo for a drop in sales of a watch the player had promoted.
The Montega company has until Aug 25 to find a way out of insolvency and is currently locked in a legal dispute with the Brazil and Real Madrid striker, Geneva lawyer Benedict Fontanet said.
