GSTAAD (Switzerland): Wimbledon champion Roger Federer stormed into the quarter-finals of the Swiss Open for the first time with a 6-1, 6-2 demolition of Frenchman Jean-Rene Lisnard yesterday.
The top seed and home favourite has never made it beyond the second round in Gstaad, but he disposed of Lisnard decisively in front of a sell-out 6,000 crowd.
