KUANTAN: Malaysia failed to dislodge the Thailand as the Asean number one in futsal. But the second edition of the region’s championship, which ended at the Sukpa Indoor Stadium here on Sunday, was another successful learning mission for the Malaysians.
The next stop for the national team is the Asian championship in Teheran later this month. And team manager Bahwandi Hiralal sees it as yet another outing to gain experience in a bid to make Malaysia a force in futsal.
