GENTING HIGHLANDS: The decision not to award medals to the national wushu exponents added more excitement to the 18th National Championships, which ended at the First World Plaza here on Saturday.
And the state exponents came out of the shadows of the national athletes to make a name for themselves. The keen rivalry among the states also helped push the overall quality of the performances to a higher level.
