PETALING JAYA: Shell KF Yamaha MIG rider Shahrun Nizam Tamin's hopes of winning the experts' title for the first time in this season's Petronas Sprinta-AAM-Malaysian Cub Prix Championships will very much depend on this weekend's fourth leg at the Kamunting Raya industrial area in Taiping.
Shahrun held a five-pointadvantage going into the lastrace at Pasir Gudang. But a sixth-place finish put him in secondplace behind Mazlan Khamis. Shahrun now has 50 points –one fewer than Mazlan.
