PETALING JAYA: Unseeded Amr Shabana of Egypt stunned compatriot Karim Darwish to capture the US$45,000 Spanish Open title in Seville on Sunday.
Shabana, the world No 20, took 84 minutes to beat the former world junior champion 15-13, 13-15, 15-14, 8-15, 15-13 in the final.
