Malaysian men down South Koreans but women crash in the first Test


ALOR STAR: Malaysia got off to a winning start in the men's competition of the Transnasional Invitation Badminton Challenge against South Korea, winning the tie 4-1 at the Sultan Abdul Halim Stadium here last night. 

The much-anticipated opening encounter of a three-tie series between the two strong rivals attracted a capacity crowd of about 5,000 fans in the newly-built stadium.
