PETALING JAYA: Selangor Public Bank's good old bunch of discards are making the critics eat their words.
Public Bank, whose team comprise mostly rejects from other states and clubs are the surprise leaders in the 12-team Premier II table standings with 38 points. With five more matches to go, they lead closest rivals Johor by two points and will have a chance to widen the gap to five when they face the Scorpions in a top-of-the-table clash at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium today.
