KUALA LUMPUR: A petite Tracie Ang of Malacca made up for her absence in the national schools (MSSM) championships recently when she returned with a bang to emerge as the top performer of the opening leg of the SportExcel-NSC-Milo Junior Artistic Gymnastic Championships here yesterday.
The 10-year-old, who had recovered from an elbow injury just two weeks ago, put up consistent performances in all four apparatus - vault, uneven bar, balance beam and floor exercise - to capture the individual all-around crown at the Stadium Putra training hall in Bukit Jalil.
