KUALA LUMPUR: Bowler Sharon Chai is injured. And she may have opened the door for a youngster to break into the team for the World Championships.
The 19-year-old Sharon is undergoing a six-week rehabilitation programme for a back injury. She is in her third week of treatment at the National Sports Institute (NSI) in Bukit Jalil.
