JOHOR BARU: Struggling Johor FC, who have inched their way to ninth place with two straight wins, will be boosted by the return of two national trainees for their home Premier I match against Perlis tomorrow.

They are goalkeeper Mohamed Sany Fahmi and midfielder Eddie Helmi Abdul Manan.

The presence of Sany, especially, is a big relief to the Hornets. They are already without G. Jeevanathan, who has been told to rest for a month to recover from an ankle injury.

With Jeevanathan out, Johor FC have brought in Johor President's Cup keeper Mohd Fadly Abdul Hadi as cover.

Johor FC secretary Tahir Hamdan said that they were looking forward to the match against Perlis, who knocked them out in the FA Cup semi-finals.

“We want to finish among the top six to get an automatic berth in the Super League next year. We cannot afford to drop points,” said Tahir.
