KUALA LUMPUR: Maybank upset overall defending champions Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) 4-2 at the Tun Razak Stadium here yesterday to become the first team to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Malaysia Hockey League (MHL).
It was the Tigers’ sixth straight win and they lead the 12-team league with a maximum 18 points. For BSN, it was their second defeat in four matches.
