PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s top ranked woman bowler Shalin Zulkilfi shone through adversity to lift her second Aviva Asian Bowling Tour title in Manila yesterday.
After going through painful moments of having her leg burnt from a cooking mishap and declared a bankrupt within the last two months, Shalin showed that determination was a powerful driving force as she made a late charge to beat Cecilia Yap of the Philippines 226-203 to win the third leg of the Tour at the Pearl Bowling Centre yesterday.
