SANTOS: Brazilian champions Santos had to be content with a 1-0 win at home to Medellin in the first leg of their Libertadores Cup semi-final after an amazing flurry of first-half misses on Wednesday.
Substitute Nene's 67th minute goal was all Santos had to show after an opening period in which they created enough chances to have buried the Colombian champions.
