KUALA LUMPUR: The Badminton Association of Malaysia's (BAM) general manager and secretary, P. Ganga Rao, has defended their decision not to appoint umpires and linesmen for the Elite Challenge.
“This is an internal tournament. The players are experienced and know the rules and regulations of the game. We felt that we will be comfortable with this arrangement.”
