PETALING JAYA: Newcomer Mohd Noer Said gave Sabah bowling a boost with a place in the national back-up squad but seasoned campaigners Yazliza Razlan and Lai Chuen Lian made agonising exits yesterday.
The 17-year-old Yazliza, a double gold medallists in the Asian School Championships and the national schools (MSSM) meet recently, lost her place in the team by a mere three pins.
