LONDON: Barcelona are hoping to lure David Beckham to the Nou Camp by putting a £30mil (US$49.4mil) price tag on the Manchester United star, according to press reports here yesterday.
United have accepted the offer, which was made verbally by representatives from the Spanish club, the reports suggested, adding that no formal bid can be put down in writing until Barcelona's new president is elected on June 15.
