KUALA LUMPUR: Overall defending champions Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) began their Malaysia Hockey League campaign on just the right note, with a 5-0 whitewash of Ipoh City Hall at the Tun Razak Stadium here yesterday.
It proved to be an easy match for the bankers as they were hardly threatened by the grossly unfit Ipoh side. Still the 5-0 scoreline was not a reflection of their dominance and Ipoh City Hall can take heart that they were spared a heavier defeat.
