IPOH: Seed Mun Kid lived up to his top billing and captured the Perak novices and junior men's singles badminton title at the City Council Hall here on Sunday night.
Mun Kid won the final by default because the second seeded Narvesphal Singh suffered cramps and could not continue playing the rubber game. The match had gone on for 100 minutes and the score then was 12-10 in favour of Narvesphyal.
