Relief for Harrington

ALVESLOHE (Germany): Padraig Harrington of Ireland sunk a nerve-jangling four-footer to defeat charging Dane Thomas Bjorn in a tense play-off finale to the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open here yesterday.

Victory came at the first sudden-death hole, Harrington staying cool under the pressure of pounding rain to capitalise on Bjorn’s missed 10-footer for par after landing in a greenside bunker with his six-iron second.
