KOTA KINABALU: The FA Cup second-leg semi-final match between Sabah and Negri Sembilan descended into chaos last night as fans invaded the pitch, the referee had to flee, and security personnel had to rush in to restore order and whisk the referee away into the dressing room.
The match was abandoned eight minutes from the end, with Negri Sembilan leading 1-0 after Luciano Gonzale’s headed strike in the 75th minute. Negri had also won the first leg 1-0.
