ALVESLOHE (Germany): Tiger Woods began his quest to win the Deutsche Bank-SAP Open for the third straight year with a solid bogey-free round of 69, leaving him four strokes behind his two biggest rivals at the event.
The only other two top 10 players in the field, number nine Padraig Harrington and number 10 Retief Goosen, both fired seven-under 65s to jump two strokes ahead on the leaderboard at the US$3.10mil event.
