KIEV: Ukraine honored coaching great Valeriy Lobanovskyi by unveiling a bronze statue and opening a football tournament to coincide with the first anniversary this week of his death.
FIFA President Joseph Blatter and President Leonid Kuchma are slated to watch as leading teams from Ukraine and Russia face off in a four-day tournament starting Monday.
