KUALA LUMPUR: This year's Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) is pulling in the foreigners. While it was common in earlier years for either Indian or Pakistani players to play here, there will be players from at least three other countries this time around.
Sapura have brought in South Korean skipper Kang Keon-wook, a world-class player in his own right. Ernst and Young, who had formerly been known as Andersen Sports Club, will have an Englishman, Daniel Thomas Haydon, in addition to Indian Len Ayappa.
