SEA ISLAND (Georgia): Anna Kournikova overcame an inconsistent performance and pain in her thigh to reach the semi-finals of the Cloister Cup.
Kournikova, playing her first competitive tournament since injuring her left abductor muscle April 9, defeated Sunitha Rao in the quarter-finals 6-3, 6-3 on Friday.
