KUALA LUMPUR: The FA of Malaysia (FAM) received a timely RM6 million boost from the Ministry of Youth and Sports towards the development of football at the grassroots level.
The RM1.5 million annual subsidy pledged by the government until 2006 would be channelled towards the Tunas Cemerlang (School of Excellence) Project, which would be jointly run by the FAM, Malaysian Schools Sports Council (MSSM) and the National Sports Council (NSC).
