SYDNEY: Australia are considering banning their athletes from leaving the Olympic Village during next year's Athens Games because of security fears.
While Australian officials insist their competitors are not facing any direct or known threat, they are still considering a blanket ban on athletes leaving the safety of the Olympic compound.
