KUALA LUMPUR: Thailand's BEC Tero Sasana made history when they became the first side to book a place in the final of the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) Champions League.
The club side from Thailand defeated Pakhtakor of Uzbekistan 3-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals. BEC Tero Sasana scored a 3-1 win in the first-leg at home. In the return-leg, Pakhtakor could only manage a 1-0 win through Server Djeperov's late goal four minutes from time.
