LONDON: Japanese MotoGP rider Daijiro Kato has died in hospital from a heart attack after failing to recover from injuries sustained in a crash at the Japanese Grand Prix, a spokesman for MotoGP said on Saturday.
Kato suffered severe injuries to his head, neck and chest in the crash during the season-opening race on April 6.
