IMOLA (Italy): World champion Michael Schumacher swept to an emotional victory in the San Marino Grand Prix yesterday just hours after hearing the heartbreaking news that his mother had died.
Both Michael and brother Ralf agreed to take part in the race despite the death of their mother Elisabeth who had passed away at a Cologne hospital in the early hours of yesterday morning.
