Josiah loses chance to race in Asian Cup due to SARS


PETALING JAYA: Cyclist Josiah Ng's hopes of returning to Malaysia to compete in his first Asian Cup in Kuala Lumpur next month has been dashed. The tournament has been cancelled due to Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). 

Josiah, who bagged the silver medal in keirin event in opening leg of the Track World Cup in Moscow in January, said he was disappointed that the Asian Cup, which was scheduled to be held at the Velodrome Rakyat in Cheras was cancelled.
