PETALING JAYA: Asian Schools team gold and singles silver medalist Eric Ang of Penang topped the boy's Open category on the first day of the Sportexcel-NSC-Milo-MSSM junior circuit third leg at Pyramid Megalanes while Sukma 2002 Masters gold medallist Zandra Aziela of Selangor leads the girl’s open division.
The 17 year-old SMJK Chung Ling student from Prai, who is leading the 2003 GP rankings after two legs this year, started poorly with a 179 but settled down well to record 223, 233, 182, 223, 216, 226 and 248 for a total of 1,730 pinfalls.
