Gazza goes into rehab clinic for booze problem

BEIJING: Former England international Paul Gascoigne has assured his Chinese club he will return after reportedly checking into a rehab clinic in the United States for a drink problem. 

“He has not left the club. He has gone back to England only for a holiday,” Zhong Bohong, general manager of Gascoigne’s club Gansu Tianma told AFP, denying the player, who has long battled the booze, was a drunk.
