LAS VEGAS (Nevada): Laura Diaz converted a closing birdie to finish at six-under-par 66 and grab a share of the first-round lead alongside Catriona Matthew at the US$1.1mil LPGA Takefuji Classic on Thursday.
With her birdie on the par-five 18th hole, America’s Diaz matched her low round of the year and joined Scotland’s Matthew one shot in front four other players.
