LONDON: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was left fuming about Sol Campbell's red card in Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Manchester United – a decision that looks certain to rule the defender out of next month's FA Cup final.
“He is destroyed. Everybody who knows Sol knows he didn't touch him on purpose,” the Frenchman said after Campbell was shown a straight red card for elbowing Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eight minutes from the end of the table-topping Highbury clash.
