MONTE CARLO: Magnus Norman gained late revenge for his 2000 French Open final loss to Gustavo Kuerten by beating the Brazilian 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the second round of the Monte Carlo Masters yesterday.
Kuerten, who won the principality tournament in 2001 and 1999 but did not take part 12 months ago, initially had the upper hand but failed to take advantage.
