KUALA LUMPUR: National singles chief coach Misbun Sidek sees no crystal clear favourite to win the men's singles crown in the World Badminton Championships, which will be held in Birmingham from May 12-18.
But he named several players as the more consistent performers on the world circuit. Among them are three Chinese players – Lin Dan, Xia Xuanze and Chen Hong. The others on his list are Indonesian Taufik Hidayat, Denmark's Kenneth Jonassen and Peter Gade-Christensen and South Korean Lee Hyun-il.
