MTBC still waiting for green light to compete in Thai Open


KUALA LUMPUR: The Thai Open bowling tournament will be held as scheduled next month despite the SARS outbreak in the region, and Malaysia have tentatively agreed to take part. 

The Malaysian Tenpin Bowling Congress (MTBC) secretary, Sidney Tung, said that the organisers had given an assurance that adequate precautions would be taken to prevent the tournament from being marred by the deadly flu-like disease.
