Strachan: FA Cup final is chance for the outsiders


BIRMINGHAM: Southampton manager Gordon Strachan rejoiced in the unpredictability of the FA Cup after his side booked their place in next month's final with a 2-1 semi-final win against First Division Watford at Villa Park here on Sunday. 

“The FA Cup gives players who are not the best in the world the chance to have a taste of what it is like to be a champion,” said Strachan after a Brett Ormerod header and a Paul Robinson own goal set up a Saints win which was thrown into doubt by Watford defender Marcus Gayle's header three minutes from the end
