MUNICH: Bayern Munich president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge resigned yesterday from the German national team working group after a dispute between the Bundesliga giants and the German football league (DFL).
Rummenigge informed natonal coach Rudi Voller of his decision to withdraw from the group, which acts as a liaison between clubs and the national team, in line with Bayern's decision to sever links with the DFL.
