Australian football officials to resign en masse

SYDNEY: Members of the board that control football in Australia announced yesterday they planned to resign en masse after a federal government investigation criticised the way they were running the sport.

The board of Soccer Australia (SA) released a statement announcing they would stand down next month to allow an interim panel of businessmen, recommended by the government report, take control of the sport.
