ROME: Juventus striker David Trezeguet will miss Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final, first-leg tie against Barcelona after damaging muscles in his left shoulder, the club has confirmed.
The France international, who suffered the injury in the Italian league leaders' 2-0 home win over strugglers Torino on Saturday, is expected to be sidelined for a week.
Pavel Nedved also limped off in the first-half of a bad-tempered Turin derby with an injured right thigh.
The Czech Republic midfielder will undergo further examination to determine whether he is fit to face the Spaniards. – AFP
