LONDON: Blackburn’s Turkish international midfielder Tugay has denied issuing death threats to England duo David Beckham and Rio Ferdinand during the Euro 2004 qualifer on Wednesday.
Friday’s Daily Mirror reported that Tugay and other Turkish players had warned the two stars they would suffer when they travel to Istanbul for the final qualifer in October.
