MADRID: Spanish club Barcelona on Friday began legal proceedings against a penalty imposed by the Spanish Football Federation which means they must play two matches behind closed doors at their Nou Camp Stadium following serious crowd trouble last year.
A visit by arch-rivals Real Madrid on Nov 23 descended into disgrace when disgruntled home fans started pelting former Barca favourite Luis Figo with objects as he was trying to take a corner.
