KUALA LUMPUR: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has postponed the Women's Championship due to kick off in Thailand on April 17 due to the outbreak of the killer Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).
AFC general-secretary Datuk Peter Velappan said yesterday the region's ruling body wanted to ensure the health of the players was not put at risk.
