ROME: Florentia, the club which rose from the ashes of the defunct Fiorentina, are on the brink of completing the first stage of their recovery by winning promotion from Italy's Fourth Division.
On Sunday, they thrashed Aglianese 5-0 to open up a seven-point lead on championship rivals Rimini and Gubbio, with just six games of the season left.
