NAIROBI: The African Football Federation (CAF) suspended Kenya from their youth competitions for two years on Tuesday after the east African country fielded overage players in a qualifier against Ghana.
Kenya's Sports Minister Najib Balala disbanded the national Under-17 team in February after he admitted Kenya had used at least one overage player in the side that eliminated Ghana 3-2 in a qualifying match for the African youth championship.
CAF’s decision affects all age category competitions from Under-21 downwards.
