BUENOS AIRES: Struggling Argentine club Talleres have suspended striker Claudio Gonzalez after he admitted to a taxi driver that he had faked an injury, a club spokesman said on Tuesday.
Gonzalez, who missed Sunday's 2-1 defeat by Chacarita Juniors, hopped into the cab and made his confession without knowing that the driver was a member of the club, the spokesman said.
